My Ride: Opel Corsa Lite 1.4 2004
Country: South Africa

Good day all,

This is my first time posting on any kind of thread.

I am trying to get some help/advise re what is currently going on with my opel corsa lite 1.4.

Basically, all the clocks have stopped working, rev, speedo, fuel etc. There is a light flickering behind the clocks that shows through the hand brake image and the petrol tank image. When I open the door the odometer will flash.
I asked my friend here at work to just see what he thinks could be the problem before I take it to a mechanic.
He thinks it could be a relay causing the problem. He also said when he disconnects the earth from the battery and reconnects it comes right but a little later stops working again.
He has taken the connector out that is behind the clocks and has sprayed it and made sure it is connected properly and secure.

Has anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?

Maybe a sensor somewhere or a particular relay?

Does anyone know where the relay that controls the instrument panel is in this particular model?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!
